On December 10, Wang Zhijian, Party Secretary and Chairman of Shandong Heavy Industry Group, met with Governor Blekpayev of Karaganda Region, Kazakhstan, who was visiting China, in Jinan. The two sides held in-depth discussions on promoting the operation of the joint venture factory and other related issues, and a signing ceremony was held.
Blekpayev, Wang Zhijian, Usenov Borat, Counselor of the Embassy of Kazakhstan in China, and Liu Zhengtao, Party Secretary and Chairman of China National Heavy Duty Truck Group, witnessed the signing. Ts. Alexander Levmirovich, Commercial Representative of Saran Machinery Co., Ltd., and Zhao Hua, Member of the Party Committee and Vice President of China National Heavy Duty Truck Group, signed the agreement on behalf of their respective companies.
Wang Zhijian warmly welcomed the delegation from the Karaganda Region government and enterprises of Kazakhstan and expressed his sincere gratitude to the Kazakhstani government at all levels for their strong support of the localization project of Shandong Heavy Industry Group and China National Heavy Duty Truck Group. He stated that the construction and completion of the joint venture factory is a significant milestone in deepening strategic mutual trust and expanding pragmatic cooperation between the two parties. This cooperation agreement is an important measure for the group to deepen its localized manufacturing, localized R&D, and localized service strategies, and has profound strategic significance for promoting the coordinated development of the equipment manufacturing industries of both parties. The two sides have a solid foundation for cooperation and broad prospects. He expressed hope that, based on existing cooperative projects, they could further expand cooperation in diverse fields such as assembly components, agricultural machinery, and construction machinery, building a new pattern of deep integration across the entire industrial chain.
Blekpayev expressed his gratitude for the warm reception from China National Heavy Duty Truck Group (CNHTC). He stated that Karaganda Region, as an important industrial base in Kazakhstan, has always regarded its cooperation with CNHTC as a crucial engine for driving high-quality regional economic development. This signing marks a new starting point for deepening cooperation between the two sides. The Karaganda Region government will continue to build an open and efficient cooperation platform, fully leverage local talent advantages, and provide comprehensive services in areas such as joint talent training, parts supply guarantees, and project funding support, striving to ensure the cooperative projects are implemented effectively and that the results of the cooperation truly benefit local economic development and improve people’s livelihoods.
