To efficiently meet the strong domestic and international order demand and ensure a high-quality start to the Group’s annual work, following the early resumption of operations at some resource-scarce production units on February 19th (the third day of the Lunar New Year), the entire production and manufacturing system of China National Heavy Duty Truck Group (CNHTC) fully resumed production on February 22nd (the sixth day of the Lunar New Year). That morning, Liu Zhengtao, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of CNHTC, visited frontline employees at the CNHTC Laiwu plant to extend his greetings and deliver the “First Lesson of the 2026 Spring Festival,” outlining key tasks for safe production.
During the “First Lesson,” attendees watched a cautionary educational video on resuming production after the 2026 Spring Festival, and comprehensively reviewed the achievements and shortcomings of production safety work in 2025. The meeting emphasized that workplace safety is crucial to the overall high-quality development of the group. All units must strengthen their foundational work on workplace safety, solidify the basis for long-term management, and thoroughly implement the “100-Day Campaign” for workplace safety, deepening the investigation and rectification of risks and hidden dangers, and always maintaining a high level of vigilance regarding safety. The principal leaders of each unit must earnestly fulfill their primary responsibility for workplace safety, treating the “first lesson after work” as a key link in resuming production. Through continuous education and training, and case warnings, they should awaken the safety awareness of all employees, quickly refocus their efforts, and work with renewed vigor to achieve a “good start” in the new year.
