To effectively fulfill its corporate social responsibility as a state-owned enterprise and provide targeted support for the development of education in remote areas of Jinan, China National Heavy Duty Truck Group (CNHTC) and the Jinan Charity Federation held a donation ceremony for the “Family Service Warms Jinan” charity project on December 19th. Xu Mingmei, former Vice Chairman of the Jinan Municipal Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference and President of the Jinan Charity Federation, and Jiang Pengpeng, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Director, and Chairman of the Trade Union of CNHTC, attended the ceremony.

This charity project not only ensures the precise implementation of the state-owned enterprise’s responsibility embodied in “Family Service,” but also leverages the professional strength of “Nourishing Jinan with Kindness” to enhance the effectiveness of its assistance, ensuring that every act of kindness is more compassionate and effective. At the ceremony, CNHTC and the Jinan Charity Federation signed a donation agreement and handed over charitable funds. The Jinan Charity Federation presented CNHTC with a charitable donation certificate.

The Jinan Charity Federation donated funds and supplies to the Jinan Municipal Urban Management Bureau, the Changqing District and Nanshan District Charity Federations, individual donors, special children’s service centers, and schools in remote areas. Representatives from the recipient schools expressed their gratitude on-site, conveying sincere respect for the care and concern shown by China National Heavy Duty Truck Group (CNHTC) and various sectors of society. They pledged to strictly regulate the management of donated funds, ensuring that every penny is used effectively to improve the school environment, support student growth, and ensure that the donation is precisely targeted and impactful. They also stated that this donation will serve as a driving force to transform social care into a powerful force for education, inspiring teachers to dedicate themselves to teaching and research, guiding students to study diligently, and allowing students to thrive in a nurturing environment.

This “Family Service Warms Jinan” charity project precisely addresses the actual needs of schools in remote areas of Jinan, left-behind children, and students from disadvantaged families. It represents a beneficial practice of CNHTC in exploring a precise assistance model of “enterprise + charitable organization.” Since its inception in 1999, CNHTC’s “Family Service” brand has evolved from its initial commitment to “customers as family” to a brand of “community-wide compassionate service and public welfare assistance,” extending its reach from the economic field to the social welfare sector. China National Heavy Duty Truck Group (CNHTC) will always uphold its original aspiration of being rooted in Jinan and contributing to society, transforming its “family-like” sentiments into long-term public welfare actions, continuously exploring new models of public welfare assistance, and gathering more synergy for public welfare, making “family-like service” a shining public welfare brand in Shandong Province.
Relevant officials from the Jinan Charity Federation, the CNHTC Trade Union, and representatives from the recipient schools participated in the event.
