On December 5th, the Shandong Heavy Industry Group held a report meeting on the deeds of master craftsmen and a commendation ceremony for the 3rd Vocational Skills Competition in Jinan, themed “Emphasis on Morality, Craftsmanship, and Success Through Action.” The meeting aimed to further promote the spirit of craftsmanship, continuously stimulate the enthusiasm of employees for innovation and skill development, and solidify the foundation of the Group’s high-quality skilled workforce. Ye Jianjun, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Director, and Chairman of the Trade Union of Shandong Heavy Industry Group, attended the event and delivered a speech.
Ye Jianjun emphasized that “Emphasis on Morality” should be the foundation, with “I guarantee the products I produce to my customers” as the code of conduct. Employees should be grounded in their positions, integrated into the overall situation, and truly responsible for products, customers, and the company, thus cultivating a rich cultural environment for the spirit of craftsmanship. “Craftsmanship” should be the core, based on the Group’s needs for green, digital, global, and ecological transformation, building training platforms, strengthening innovation empowerment, and honing professional skills to the highest degree. “Success Through Action” should be the key, further improving the institutional mechanisms for support, creating a favorable environment for highly skilled personnel to work and start businesses, and promoting the in-depth and practical development of the workforce. The group hopes that all employees will emulate the master craftsmen of the nation, using their craftsmanship to create high-quality products and innovation to promote development, contributing even more to building a world-class, technologically advanced, green, and world-class high-end equipment multinational group.
At the event, Diao Tongwu and Tang Haiwei, selected as the first batch of master craftsmen of the nation, delivered reports, sharing their experiences of deeply cultivating their technical fields and overcoming industry challenges.
