At 9:16 on April 10, the K8281 train departed from Jinan Station, marking the official operation of the first “Hospitable Shandong•Qilu No. 1” tourist train named by Shandong Heavy Industry Group.
When the “Qilu No. 1” train travels through the spring land of Qilu, Shandong Heavy Industry injects hard-core genes into the flowing landscape with the beauty of industrial design. This is not only a romantic tour of “Shandong Good Products” across mountains and seas, but also an in-depth dialogue between “Chinese Intelligent Manufacturing” and the millennium cultural context. This naming of the provincial cultural and tourism IP train deeply binds the Shandong Heavy Industry brand with the “Hospitable Shandong” cultural and tourism business card, reflecting the symphony resonance of industrial hard power and cultural soft power, further polishing the bright business card of Shandong Heavy Industry’s high-end equipment brand, and allowing visitors from all directions to touch the surging pulse of “Chinese Intelligent Manufacturing” while wandering in the mountains and rivers.
It is understood that “Hospitality Shandong·Qilu No. 1” is the first provincial government-led, railway-tourism integrated, railway-enterprise-linked, and travel-sharing serial special-line tourist train in China. The train is composed of 15 carriages, including entertainment function cars, catering cars, hard seat cars, and soft and hard sleeper cars. The entire train has a total of 666 seats and berths. The operating range and train numbers include Jinan to Zaozhuang West K8281, Zaozhuang West to Weihai K8282/3, and Weihai to Jinan K8286/7, connecting 11 cities, 22 stations, and more than 200 scenic spots in Shandong.
