Jun 01, 2026

To celebrate International Children’s Day on June 1st, effectively advance key livelihood projects for employees, and enhance corporate cohesion and employee sense of belonging, China National Heavy Duty Truck Group (CNHTC) successfully held an open day event themed “Walking with Love, Happy CNHTC” on May 30, 2024. More than 1,200 employees and their families from various departments of the group gathered at the CNHTC Museum. Through reflecting on the company’s development history and immersive parent-child interactions, they cultivated a deep sense of national pride and appreciated the spirit of craftsmanship, spending a unique holiday filled with warmth, depth, and meaning.

Immersive Industrial Culture Experience: Making Profound History Accessible
This open day empowered cultural inheritance through fun and interactive activities, transforming the rich industrial history into a vivid experience easily understood by children. CNHTC employees, usually busy on the front lines of production and R&D, temporarily set aside their work burdens and walked hand-in-hand with their children into the CNHTC Museum. Before historical exhibits and a series of upgraded products, children listened intently with wide, curious eyes to the stories of their parents’ arduous pioneering efforts and independent innovation, gently touching the pulse of the nation’s heavy-duty truck industry with their small hands.

From the first generation of heavy-duty trucks to modern intelligent product series, the decades-long technological leaps and craftsmanship of China National Heavy Duty Truck Group (CNHTC) became vivid and concrete as parents and children stopped to listen and exchange ideas.

“One Family, One Heart, Working Together, We Will Succeed”: Interactive Games Convey the Core of Corporate Culture
The atmosphere at the event was lively and full of childlike fun. Based on the characteristics of CNHTC products, the organizers carefully set up several fun checkpoints, including interactive games such as “My First CNHTC Truck,” “Experiencing CNHTC’s Hard Power,” “CNHTC Little Assembler,” and “CNHTC’s Strongest Driver.” Children, accompanied by their parents, actively participated, completing each challenge and successfully collecting four exclusive stamps: “One Family,” “One Heart,” “Working Together,” and “We Will Succeed.”

This process was not only a joyful parent-child challenge but also an immersive educational experience in corporate culture. Through games, children learned the core values of the group’s “Four Ones” team culture and understood the corporate spirit of unity, hard work, pragmatism, and shared goals.

History and Warmth Meet: Generational Frames in Front of the Old Yellow River JN150
The interactive area was equally heartwarming. In the special photo area, many employee families spontaneously stopped to take pictures in front of the Yellow River JN150, China’s first heavy-duty truck from 1960. This old Yellow River truck, carrying over six decades of the company’s glorious history, became the perfect backdrop for the collision of history and modern warmth. Different generations posing together in front of the same truck vividly illustrated the enduring spirit of self-reliance and hard work of China National Heavy Duty Truck Group (CNHTC).

Children’s Heartfelt Words: From “Why Does Dad Work Overtime?” to “I Want to Contribute to the Country”

In the heartwarming message area, children wrote “A Letter to CNHTC.” Their innocent yet sincere words revealed their understanding and respect for their parents’ work, as well as their heartfelt blessings for the company.

One child wrote: “I always wondered why my dad often worked overtime. Today, after visiting the factory and seeing all those brand-new trucks, I finally understand that they are building our nation’s heavy equipment with their own hands. I will study hard in the future and contribute my own strength to my country!”

These innocent words from children resonate deeply, echoing the intergenerational transmission of the company’s spirit.

The Museum as a Classroom: The Intergenerational Passing on of Craftsmanship and Original Aspirations The China National Heavy Duty Truck Group (CNHTC) Museum carries the company’s 96 years of history, etched with the glorious years from its humble beginnings to its industry leadership. This open day event deeply integrated festive fun, corporate culture, and patriotism, transforming the museum’s historical heritage into a vivid teaching material that nourishes children’s hearts and strengthens their original aspirations.

From humble beginnings to modern intelligent production, from the older generation’s dedication to their posts and their pursuit of excellence, to the company’s mission to serve the country through industry and strengthen the nation through intelligent manufacturing—all of this has quietly taken root in the children’s hearts. Craftsmanship and the spirit of hard work have been passed down in a warm and powerful way this Children’s Day.
